I would definitely recommend the Complete Book if you are interested in magickal ...

I purchased this book after I had purchased The Complete Book of Incense, Oils and Brews, thinking that I would find some guidance regarding scent composition as well as further information on the magickal properties of the materials. Although you really can't go wrong with Cunningham, if you already have The Complete Book, I wouldn't bother buying this one as it doesn't impart any new information and has less content. I would definitely recommend the Complete Book if you are interested in magickal herbalism and its various implementations and skip this one. I don't regret the purchase, but it was unnecessary for my needs.

Fun but not comprehensive

This is fun if you are looking for the "magical" uses of oils - but it is not the best if you are looking for actual recipes and things. It is more of a fun book to have on hand. It lists the oils alphabetically with their magical uses - great if you dabble in that sort of thing. I love essential oils so it was a fun addition to my library but not for everyone. The list was not very comprehensive and I found many oils were not included. It is a little old school.

The book is easy to use

Excited to have this book. Not only does it give aromatherapy information it includes "magic" as the title mentions.. hence i thought it was an adjective describing the aromatherapy. The book is easy to use, well written and enlightening.
